Hannah Adams

Hannah was born in Germany, grew up in Alaska, and lived on the East Coast for many years before landing in Seattle. She came to Waldorf Education as a student, and returned as an educator. After experiencing many different types of education philosophies, she discovered there was nothing that resonated with her more deeply than Waldorf Education. Hannah has a passion for movement and early childhood development, as well as the outdoors and living life in a sustainable way. Hannah has been teaching in preschool and kindergarten classrooms over the past 10 years. She has worked at Waldorf schools in New York and Washington, and at a LifeWays program in Alaska. She holds a B.F.A. in Contemporary Dance Performance from The Boston Conservatory and is in the final year of her Waldorf Teacher training at The West Coast Institute. Hannah believes that children belong outdoors, and finds herself very lucky to spend so much time with little ones in nature.

Cairi Myers

Cairi grew up in the Hudson Valley of New York, and made her way to Seattle in 2020.  Her first memories of school were created from the warm and loving care of an at-home Waldorf kindergarten, nestled between forest and farm land. Cairi grew up next to her mother’s independent kindergarten program. It was here that her love for young children and teaching blossomed.

She has taught at schools in New York, Washington and Nepal. She received her undergraduate degree in Global Studies from the New School and is completing her Waldorf Teacher training at The West Coast Institute. No matter where she is, Cairi has always found a way back to teaching. This work has been part of her life for as long as she can remember. Her hope is to spread that same curiosity and magic that permeated her early childhood experience.
