About

Westwind is a fully outdoor Waldorf-inspired early childhood program serving families with children ages 1-4 years old.

Seedlings Parent & Child class

Willows Mixed-age Program (2.5-4)

At Westwind Forest School we believe in fostering the early years of a child's developmental learning through a play-based education. Children learn best through imitation, action, and play with one another. We nourish this through stories, songs, purpose-driven work, and connection to nature.  In a world as fast paced as ours, we believe in creating a space where children can explore, create and imagine; one where their childhoods are unhurried.

& other neighboring parks.

We are connecting families enrolling for the 24-25 school year who are interested in coordinating shared care for the afternoon.

Westwind Forest School is located on the ancestral homelands of the Duwamish, Suquamish, Stillaguamish, Muckleshoot, Cayuse, Umatilla, and Walla Walla tribes. We honor their stewardship of the water and land. We look to them as leaders on how to care for this beautiful place.
